We are accepting resumes for our offshore training instructor program (experience not required). A minimum of 8 years of Crane operation experience is required for some upcoming international jobs. We are a Global provider of onshore/offshore safety training in the oil and gas industry with a proven track record for quality. For this position, you would be responsible for :

 

  • Training
  • Assesment
  • Course review
  • Administation of the training
  • Reporting and input of training strategy and execution

The objective is to ensure high quality training to customers. This role requires taking a leadership role and representing the company onboard the rig to ensure the outcome of the customer is achieved. Further responsibilities may include:

 

  • Providing training to the crew
  • Determine the specific training requirements
  • Assesment of crew based on competency assesment method
  • Planning of the training requirements
  • Preparation of training materials
  • Reporting of training completed and administative requirements for training process
  • Working with the customer to ensure quality objectives are met
  • Understanding of the specific requirements unique to the customer

 

In order to become an accredited Instructor you will be required to successfully complete our 25 day Training Program in Sugar Land, Texas. The first 5 days will consist of our Offshore Training Instructor course (OTI) and interview process which upon completion and management approval, you will then be elgible to contract with us and to attend our 20 days of Developmental Training (DT). As an independent contractor, you are responsible for maintaining:

 

  • A valid Passport
  • BOSIET
  • Valid OGUK Medical.

 

In addition to those requirements each contractor must have:

 

  • A functioning laptop
  • Microsoft Office (Power point, Excel, Word)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • An external hard drive
  • USB memory stick
