Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will:
  • Enable voice architecture vision and strategy with an emphasis in Microsoft Teams Phone System for a global organization
  • Automate processes related Microsoft Teams phone system; this will require expert knowledge of scripting methodologies and management of process, including expertise in PowerShell when working with O365
  • Work with both Cisco UCM and Microsoft Phone System/Skype Enterprise Voice
  • Develop, implement and maintain Microsoft Teams Phone System standards around direct routing, policies, dial-plan, and emergency dialing for a global organization
  • Work with third party technology providers including cloud hosted direct routing solutions
  • Work with network and security team to ensure firewall and network components are optimized to support Microsoft phone system in a global organization
  • Install, configure and maintain direct routing SBCs (Cisco and AudioCodes)
  • Troubleshoot voice quality problems on a corporate network (firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN)
  • Provide L4 support for Microsoft phone system issues that are escalated from other teams.
  • Work with UC administrators and voice engineers to develop best practices


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of industry experience.
  • A minimum 8 years of professional experience.

  • Skilled level expertise in design of computing or network requirements of O365.
  • Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals for deployment of voice.
  • Understands concepts of setting and driving architecture direction for Microsoft Teams phone system and O365.
  • Familiar with elements of gathering architecture requirements for voice infrastructure.
  • Understands architecture standards concepts within the voice space to apply to project work.
