Sustain and implement required changes to circuit operations for the USARCC-SWA Enterprise telecommunications systems in theater, which requires familiarization with transmission and multiplex (MUX) based equipment. Collaboratively work with the 160th Signal Brigade, 335th Theater Signal Command, and DISA to activate, change, upgrade, and deactivate trunks, links, and circuits in accordance with applicable requirements or regulatory guidance and submit applicable reports. Perform test and acceptance on trunks, links, circuits, and equipment. Maintain system diagrams for links, trunks, circuits, and systems. Ensure equipment, cables, patch bays, or other circuit access points are labeled appropriately. Responsible for timely updating of related circuit and configuration management tools. Coordinate the installation of government circuits with the appropriate USARCC-SWA division or team, local users, and associated commercial vendors. Must have the ability to work independently and on multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to pay attention to details and documentation, strong organizational skills. Requires experience using Promina.
Education Requirements: Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline. Additional experience may be substituted for education for this position.
Certification Requirements: DoDD 8570.01-M Baseline Certification (Security+) is required at start for all candidates and CCNA certification is required within six (6) of strating.
Experience Requirements: Four (4) years of applicable experience required.
