About the opportunity
In the Middle East, our urban development team are helping our clients turn creative ideas and solutions into reality. In particular, within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, our team of professionals on the ground are pushing the development agenda with newly created opportunities in areas such as smart cities, affordable housing, tourism and clean energy.
With increased appetite from our clients, we are looking strengthen our urban development team with an Infrastructure BIM Lead. You will be monitoring and supporting BIM implementation and delivery across the project, overseeing design coordination, dealing with clash detection and construction sequencing.
You will be governing BIM across infrastructure related projects, ensuring data and information developed by consultants and contractors are compliant with client requirements and that milestone models adhere to all internal and client specific standards as outlined in the Project Execution Plan.
Your ability to influence and manage client expectations as well as manage performance of contractors and consultants will see you achieve successful results.
To be considered for this position you will be degree qualified either in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, with experience in BIM leveraging and managing technology in infrastructure design and construction.
You must have extensive knowledge of the nuances, features, functions, and limitations of Autodesk and Bentley 3D/BIM Platforms, including experience with complex workflows involving these platforms.
Expert knowledge and proficient with Revit, Sketch-up, Navisworks, Autocad and other BIM applications used for Infrastructure design and construction with the ability to utilize 3D/BIM-enabled quantity takeoff and BIM-enabled estimating tools.
Industry BIM Certification (Revit Professional, CM-BIM, or related) is preferred.
