Jacobs is delivering engineering and construction management services on a major infrastructure project on the outskirts of Riyadh that is set to become an oasis in a large urban metropolis, the vision for Wadi Al Safar is already drawing comparisons with Beverley Hills. This is a truly exceptional project and already home to an important historical and cultural site, the At- Turaif Unesco world heritage site. The development will be an exclusive address, comprised of homes set upon large residential plots, with gated and secure access, and complemented by a golf course and club house, hotels and villas, sports, health and wellbeing, equestrian park, outdoor event areas, mosques and FM facilities. Jacobs' scope includes design and supervision for the integrated infrastructure including associated wadi drainage, public realm, streetscape and hard and soft landscaping up to private plots.
As a Design Coordination Manager providing design leadership and Design management or the design and delivery of significant portions of scope of Infrastructure requirements management, stakeholder management, brief development, managing design reviews and design stage assuring quality in delivery phases .
As a successful candidate you will be responsible for the design leadership and design management for a team that is managing the design, technical, procurement, commercial, risk and opportunities management, safety , security and quality aspects across all disciplines, systems and interfaces , t hese include but are not limited to work includes construction of circa 90 km of roadway with all associated piped infrastructure. This is the main element Jacobs are supervising. We need an infrastructure engineer . The candidate should posses experience in infrastructure: civil engineering (roads, wet services (storm, water), dry services (electrical, lighting, telecoms and ICT , public realm), You will be responsible for design and technical integration and assurance that supports the commercial delivery of projects . Demonstrate and effective d esign leadership skills in the context of major infrastructure p rograms .
Minimum 15+years in Infrastructure Delivery , the individual must also have significant experience directing the planning, design, and construction of large multi-discipline infrastructure projects, with high degrees of technical complexity, and involving a large number of program/project staff . The individual must have a knowledge of, and experience with, typical design, procurement and construction methods used in international markets to deliver large-sca le infrastructure projects. Experience of providing client design leadership and design management to multi-disciplinary design consultant teams and construction delivery teams of complex aviation programmes and projects is essential .
