As an Energy and Power Controls Engineer (Intermediate Level) on our design team in Fort Worth, TX, you will take ownership in creating documents to build control systems for energy and power projects across the globe. You'll tap into both your creative and analytical sides in this role as you prepare designs for central utility (power, chilled water, steam, hot water, etc.) plant control systems, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) networks for power generation and distribution systems and master planning.
Responsibilities include selection of process instruments and control valves, development of process and instrumentation diagrams, loop diagrams, input/out lists, instrument lists, control valve data sheets and technical specifications and design of communication networks between local programmable logic controllers (PLC), plant distributed control systems (DCS), motor control centers, power distribution switchgear, intelligent electronic devices (IED) and other control sub-systems. In addition, perform vendor submittal reviews, respond to construction contractor requests for information (RFIs) and occasional travel to client sites for field observations and construction meetings.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial
- At least 2 years of design experience working in an MEP environment
- Strong technical writing skills
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, or ability to obtain within 3 years
- Experience with commercial or industrial process control or SCADA systems
