We have an opening for a SmartPlant P&ID (SPID) Global Lead Administrator will become an integral part of the Global IT Project Technology Services (PTS) Team and be responsible for configuring, implementing, supporting and administering SMART P&ID on Project work.
The successful applicant will require significant skills in the administration and support of SPID in various configurations, as well as the ability to lead a team of Administrators. In addition, they will also be familiar and knowledgeable of all the various products within the Hexagon SMART Suite and have an understanding of how they integrate. Strong knowledge and experience of how SPID integrates through SPF with both SmartPlant and Non-SmartPlant tools is required in order to fulfill this role.
Being part of the Global team will provide the successful applicant with a network of support for all the other major SmartPlant applications, but it is also a clear requirement of this role to be able to work independently. Specific responsibilities include:
    Establishing an excellent working relationship with the Project and Business leadership Leading a group of SPPID Administrators Leading the Irish business in SmartPlant technologies. Working within the existing team structure, company policies and system environment. Configuring database and deliverables in SPID in a fully integrated environment. Supporting user requests and application support, including symbology as needed. Ensuring database/data integrity and cleanup. Building and/or implementing solutions. Deployment and work share environment support.


    Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science or close related degree. A minimum of 7 years' experience and ability to demonstrate specific skills and experience with the following: Administration of SMART P&ID Smart Engineering Integrity Pipe Spec remote access SmartSketch MS SQL/Oracle

In addition, candidate will ideally also possess the following:

    Ability to demonstrate understanding of Smart Electrical Integration Ability to demonstrate understanding of Smart Instrumentation Integration Ability to demonstrate understanding of Smart Interop Publisher Integration Ability to demonstrate understanding of SmartPlant Foundation Integration Ability to demonstrate understanding of Smart 3D Isometrics and BOM Conceptual thinker and ability to work with complex systems Fast learner Great communication skills in English to facilitate working with a team located all over the globe Person already residing in the Oak Ridge, TN area highly preferred

Essential Functions:

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
