As a vital member of our Central Texas team as a Structural EIT (in either Austin or San Antonio), you'll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects that focus on bridge and other transportation structure design. Working alongside a team of technicians and engineers, you'll be responsible for creating computer models, performing calculations of section properties and weight take-offs, preparation of calculations, etc.

Our Structural (Bridge) EIT performs evaluations of structures of various degrees of complexity, prepares plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates under the supervision of experienced engineers, researches code issues and works with City, State, and County officials and researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.

Here's What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
• Successful bridge engineering experience
• At least 0-1 year of experience.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months

Ideally, you'll also have:
• At least one previous summer design internship on transportation, water, and/or land development projects
• Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/Inroads and AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
