As the environmental compliance specialist, you'll support stormwater and environmental permitting and compliance projects You'll have the opportunity to support the development and implementation of environmental compliance and management solutions for our clients.

Based in Oakland, CA office you'll have the opportunity to conduct both field and office work; it requires the ability to work with teams to coordinate general environmental compliance during project planning and execution. During your time with us, you'll have the opportunity to support the project management teams on commercial and Federal projects. You'll support the delivery of environmental and stormwater compliance projects. Responsibilities may include: developing and implementing SWPPPs and/or site stabilization plans; conducting site inspections, stormwater sampling, desktop evaluations, and/or on-site training; preparing related documentation and reporting. Qualifications:

Here's What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related field from a U.S. accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant environmental compliance experience Familiarity with stormwater projects


Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) in the State of California Additional relevant certification such as Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspectors (CESSWI), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ) and/or Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP)
  • Experience with the California Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System (SMARTS) Current QSP / QSD Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Familiarity with the California Stormwater Construction General Permit and California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) Construction Handbook
