ENGIE's IT Manager - Project Systems will act as a key link between IT & Digital and the Project teams working towards zero transition in North America. The IT Manager will design solutions that improve productivity, insight and foresight. In addition, it will be responsible for operational support, project management and strategic guidance for assigned areas.

This highly motivated leader will creatively blend their SAP Project Systems expertise, solutioning skills and ability to leverage non SAP products in order to deliver results in a fast pace environment.

What you'll do:

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders - including internal parties, external resources and third-party software vendors - to architect and deliver value add solutions for the various project teams, including: Solar, Wind, General & Specialty Contractors, etc.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal customers and other stakeholders that is based on trust, transparency and continuously improvement.
  • Understand needs and constrains of Project Managers using PS, identify with them.
  • Deploy state of the art technology, methods and UX tools.
  • Go beyond traditional approaches and establish a roadmap to better serve our customers.
  • Prioritize and sequence deliverable appropriately to meet business expectations.
  • Support Integration with other systems.
  • Manage offshore and project resources.
    • Drive quick resolution on issues and support tickets.
    • Implement and optimize IT controls and support audits.
  • Back-up other applications team members as necessary
    • Carry out other duties as assigned
  • This highly motivated individual should be ready to take upon new assignments according to the business needs

What you bring:
  • Demonstrated success leading implementations, integrations and operation in an IT role required.
  • Demonstrated success leading implementations, integrations and operation in an IT role required.
  • Excel at mapping business processes translating the into functional specifications.
  • Mastery of SAP Project Systems is required. Solution design and hands on SAP configuration required for:
  • CAPEX, Assets under Construction
  • Billable for a service organization: Revenue Recognition, Resource Related Billing
  • Integration with SAP MM (PTP), SD (OTC) and HR
  • Experience with Acquire to Retire process required: fixed assets master data, asset conversions, AUC (asset under construction), investment measure, tax depreciation areas
  • Design and hands-on configuration of project master data, Result Analysis, WIP/POC calculation methods, CATS (time entry), 3rd party timesheet integration, reporting and budgeting
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Superior attention to detail and quality
  • Proven ability to adopt new technology and to improve User Experience
  • Experience with SAP S/4 (1709 or higher), Fiori, CDS and Analysis for Excel strongly preferred
  • Experience with construction industry strongly preferred
  • Experience with implementing and/or managing Procore and Green IT - or similar SAAS packages - strongly preferred
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud preferred
  • Experience with SAP CPM and PPM modules preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Engineering or its equivalent.
  • 10 years minimum of relevant experience.
