ENGIE are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based on the front-desk at Sizewell B Power Station, Leiston. This is a permanent, full time role working 37.5 hours a week. On offer is a competitive industry salary and high-quality benefits package.

General Overview:
As the first point of contact for all EDF staff, contractors and visitors to site and working as part of the of the Site Security Team, your core duties will include:
  • Perform ID verification checks for all visitors to site.
  • Issue EDF staff, contractors and visitors relevant site access passes in accordance with BEG/SPEC/SEC/SSI/002.
  • Assist with Visitor Centre Tour coordination and providing smooth access to site for visitors.
  • Ensure visitor notification forms are processed in accordance with BEG/SPEC/SEC/ORG/005
  • Issuing of Security keys in accordance with Security Working Instructions.
  • Manage and maintain filing systems
  • Ad-hoc administration duties

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

  • Valid, in-date S.I.A. License
  • Be able to pass an extensive vetting process
There is also an expectation to undertake further training as requested in line with the clients and Workplace Solutions operational requirements
