ENGIE are recruiting for a Gas Team Leader to be based in and around the Stoke on Trent area, ST4 4DB. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary along with an excellent benefits package.

Role Overview:
Carry out the Service, Maintenance and Repair of Gas Fired Associated Equipment and Building Services Installations. In addition to your normal engineering duties you will be responsible for the technical performance of the engineering team and maintaining industry standards within the Stoke Schools and Stoke & Staffs Fire & Rescue contract.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:



  • A recognised Mechanical engineering qualification essential.
  • 18th Edition Wiring regs. Ideal but not essential (desirable)
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Registration with Gas Safe to include ACS commercial qualifications
  • Experienced fault-finding skills in heating and hot water systems & working on various gas boilers and appliances.
  • IPAF & PASMA Certified
  • Safe Electrical Isolation of Low Voltage Systems
  • Knowledge of the Permit to Work system & experience issuing PTW would also be beneficial.
  • Be able to manage and prioritise the workload
  • Ensure compliance with contract KPIs and SLAs with the support of the Engineering Supervisor.
  • CRB/DBS check required
