AECOM is actively seeking a talented Traffic Engineer for immediate employment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana


The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist traffic engineering leads and project managers on projects related to traffic operations, safety analysis, traffic impact analyses, and other related traffic engineering work.
  • Work under the direct supervision of senior staff to develop traffic models for freeway / intersection transportation improvements

  • Minimum Requirements

    BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Civil Engineering
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Familiarity with HCS, Synchro, Sidra, Vissim, Paramics, and/or Vistro
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Experience with computer programming
    • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
