Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a remote Director, Early Careers Programs to join our Americas Talent Acquisition team. This position can be located anywhere in the US or Canada.

As our Director, Early Career Programs, you will develop, execute and deliver the crucial strategy to identify, engage, attract and develop our future talent.

What you'll be doing:
  • You'll define, implement and execute a "best in class" campus recruiting strategy to include technology, social media, employment branding, etc.
  • You'll build a relationship strategy with various stakeholders to achieve a focused, tiered approach to College and University relations which will lead to consistency, efficiency and the best quality hires.
  • You'll ensure that the AECOM campus strategy delivers the best experience for candidates, campus, university and academic stakeholders, HR, talent acquisition team members and our business leaders
  • You'll be a liaison between colleges and universities, student organizations and AECOM
  • You'll oversee the development of candidate pipelines, on campus events, interviews and offer letters.
  • You'll gather data, analyze, present, and develop improvements to our current process as well as the entire performance of the program.
  • You'll serve as an advisor to our business leaders to advise them of trends, events and best practices using data, benchmarking and other factors to ensure the right direction and decisions are made for the university space.
  • You'll partner with the business to help forecast upcoming graduate and intern hire needs and develop delivery strategies to execute expected hiring levels.
  • In partnership with our ED&I team, you'll oversee on-campus diversity initiatives and ensure that we have a coordinated diversity strategy at the national, regional, and campus level.
  • You'll look for new and efficient ways to leverage internal technologies and external platforms for the university program.
  • You'll meet and present often with leaders across various business lines who will look to you to be the SME in all things university relations.

  • You are a data guru and understand the criticality of using data to lead and guide and make informed decisions.
  • You have an understanding and experience with matrixed organizations and are not afraid to take on supporting, guiding and advising various lines of business in their college recruitment strategies and goals.

  • You will preferably have experience with a similar firm in our industry who services a wide range of clients
  • You preferably will have established relationships with Minority Serving Institutions (HBCUs, HSIs and/or Tribal Colleges)

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 12 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing and designing campus recruitment and/or early career professional development programs cross-border in the US and Canada
  • Strong project manager who can work in a matrixed environment
  • Experience managing virtual teams to exceptional performance
  • Be data-driven and have experience with analysis and reporting

  • Be a stellar communicator
  • Experience in our industry with a firm that provides design, consulting, construction and management services with a wide range of clients
  • Collaborative, able to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
