Responsible for complex plant engineering tasks which require plant engineering experience and application of engineering principles. Work independently with general guidance for complex tasks and independently for routine daily tasks. Responsible for the planning and coordination phase of engineering tasks. Ability to apply nuclear regulations and standards to work assignments. Communicates effectively with interfacing departments.
This position is represented by IBEW Local 2150. Required Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
- Two (2) years or more of engineering or related experience required.
- Candidates must satisfy all Company and Nuclear Regulatory Commission security requirements.
- Travel to support Fleet objectives and act as a member of the emergency response organization may be part of the requirements of this position.
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred. PE may substitute for BS degree.
- Nuclear industry experience is preferred.
