Roles and Responsibilities
- In coordination with the other technical experts and his/her management, identifies priorities for the entire Service Technology for EM&VFD topics.
Ensures investigations cover all relevant issues in the fleet and works to reduce/contain Cost of Quality.
Coordinates multifunctional teams to deliver root cause failure analyses (RCA), in strong cooperation with the all Service Technology team, defining the containment and recovery strategy.
Discusses the outcome of the analyses with the customers and internal stakeholders; follows up with implementation.
Defines the strategy and manages complex issues within functional area of expertise.
Has the ability to document, plan and execute programs.
Defines and monitors the progress of the key Strategic Initiatives.
Pulls the right teams together to provide consultation and technical direction to the engineering community and other functions on near term and longer-range projects with substantial business impact.
Remains current in the state of the art within own technical specialty for new products introduction activity, performance improvements, cost reductions and problem resolutions.
Supports other BH Product Companies, supplier, and internal/external customers.
Provides engineering support, within the defined specialty, to teams working on performance, cost reduction and quality initiatives.
Leverages expertise to resolve problems in the field.
Makes recommendations after analysis of the data using quality tools.
Protects the Intellectual Property rights of the Company.
Promote the commitment of team members for quality and HSE values of the company.
Promotes technical mentoring to less experienced engineers, identifies and fosters the growth of the best talent, leveraging Corporate and Technical training.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
At least 10 additional years of experience in an engineering and field support.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Motivated self-starter promotes teamwork in a cross functional environment and has excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Proven track record of collaboration in multi-functional teams.
Deep knowledge of Electric Motors and Variable Speed Frequency Systems
Availability to travel
Fluent in English and Italian
EU Work Permit.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Green Belt certified
Demonstrated ability todeal withstate of the art in the technical specialty.
Knowledge of BH, GE Power, GE Power Conversionand market products.
