SUMMARY: Briefly describe the job's primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization.
This position works in a team oriented environment scheduling and coordinating engineering and environmental on-site reconnaissance (OSR) with property contacts. Supports and schedules the Project Managers (PMs) and provides them with the pertinent materials to complete the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.
- Prioritizes assigned work based on site inspection dates or other notification requirements.
- Establishes contact with the property representative to schedule site visits.
- Responsible for managing administrative details: verifying information, assembling paperwork; emailing Project Work Plans (PWP) and report masters, etc.
- Regularly updates scheduling database; maintains knowledge of part-time employees and subcontractor availability.
- Proactively identifies scheduling conflicts and resolves them immediately.
- Works with assigned PMs to foster professional growth and development and to create a team like atmosphere.
- Organizes scheduling by reviewing jobs for location and due date, determining turnaround time, ensuring appropriate coordination with other departments, and considering efficiencies in travel, productivity, etc.
- Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
- Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients needs.
- Demonstrates BV's guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
- Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and in support of BV's quality standards.
- Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- May be required to work overtime with prior authorization from supervisor.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Experience with supporting an operational unit; Strong scheduling and logistics coordination experience; Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Internet research.

Other Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Excellent ability to prioritize; Good attention to detail and deadlines; Good time management skills including ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
