Role Summary:

Baker Hughes has a new opportunity for Inside Sales Manager - Nexus Controls to join the team in Gurgaon / Pune, India

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Selling by phone or online, rather than traveling to meet customers face-to-face
  • Provide commercially and technically sound quotations to customers
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities, keep a tab on open quotations, follow-up with customers to close orders
  • Maintain pricing history (LPR) from past with installed base customers
  • Act as a liaison with applications engineering regarding inquiries for custom products, special applications and technical questions involving orders or quotes
  • Observe all foreign trade laws and policies
  • Answer customer questions regarding products in an accurate and professional manner
  • Handle replacement and product return orders
  • Keep updated about latest part numbers, replacements of obsolete parts, Technical Information Letters (TIL) and product service bulletins.
  • Work closely with headquarters, factory and Customer Care team for timely execution, invoicing and dispatches of parts to customers
  • Coordinate with ITO, Comm Ops, Project Management and Legal teams for seeking review and approval of Terms & Conditions and price DOA's
  • Provide order status to customers, sales manager or to order conversion team
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, field sales, and the customer should a problem arise concerning payments
  • Establish and maintain a good working rapport with assigned field offices and representatives
  • Accountable for convertible orders


Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Engineering discipline preferred)
  • Controls Solutions and Instrumentation product knowledge
  • Prior experience dealing with the Oil & Gas and Power Plant industries
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in industry-related sales or Inside Sales
  • Hands on working experience on ERP tools - SAP and Oracle
  • Should have ability to review customer PO to identify risks and mitigate them well in advance
