The Senior Electrical Engineer for ENG-PM&T will be responsible for:
  • Manage project design activities keeping schedule, HSE and Quality requirements, engineering hours budget and engineering and materials productivity targets.
  • Carry-out the assigned projects activities by using state-of-the-art engineering tools and practices and adhering to business policies, procedures and product/program requirements.
  • Perform and review overall power plant electrical studies: Load Flow, Short Circuit, Stability, Transient, . . .
  • Collaborate with Electrical Technology Leader and Discipline Manager to develop team Competences and Standards in Combined Cycle Power Plant electrical systems and controls. Special focus should be needed on Power Management System and Grid Studies.
  • Act as technical reference for Design & Project Engineers to solve possible doubts and support Company position in front of Customers.
  • Attend technical and business reviews as presenter or reviewer. Take the ownership for risks mitigation.
  • Promote and drive company initiatives and programs to develop new technologies in Energy Production, Recovery and Storage
  • Support Application Engineer during bid phase conceptual design and proactively propose alternative costly effective solutions.
  • Support site erection activities and plant commissioning and start up, whenever required.
  • Use non conformities for Lessons Learned implementation and lead quality continuous improvement process

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong experience in an engineering position
  • Experience on design of BOP Electrical Systems
  • Familiarity with Oil&Gas and Power products and market.
  • Knowledge and practice with International Codes like: IEC, NEMA, NEC.
  • Expertise in ETAP or similar programs for grid studies
  • Fluency in Italian and English language.
  • EU Work Permit.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Leadership, Interpersonal and management skills.
  • Analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Capable to work with a minimum coordination in a multi discipline and global environment.
  • Office and engineering software tools knowledge.

  • CAD basic knowledge
  • Experience with Electrical System Engineering Tools
  • 3D modelling basic concepts
  • GB qualification. (BH employees only)
