My client is a growing innovative consultancy business who work within the Water Industry.
They are currently growing year on year and expect to double their turnover in the next 12 months.
Due to internal successes and strategies around business future structure they are now looking to hire an experienced Water Process Engineer from the Water Industry to be based out of the Exeter Office.
Reporting to and assisting the Principal Process Engineer and Operations Director the successful candidate for the role will take responsibility for a selection of Water Process Calculations and Tender Documents and provide technical support to activities across current and future business interests available in and around Exeter.
There will be particular focus on:
" Site surveys and assessments of capacity of the plant to meet future demands.
" Feasibility, outline and detailed process design, including mass, heat and energy balances, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, hydraulic design, design risk assessments, control philosophies, commissioning strategies, cost and programme estimations, plant and equipment specifications and carbon calculations.
" Increasing company profile through Operational Excellence.
" Energising and Developing the Workforce
" Embracing & Developing processes & technical tools
Will be ambitious, enthusiastic and ready to take on new challenges.
They should be willing to work flexibly as the business requires, and be prepared for some travel to client's offices within the SW.
In addition, the successful candidate will possess:
" Educated to degree level with a chemical / process engineering bias; Chartered Member of a recognised professional institution (e.g IChemE, CIWEM)
" Ability to provide a customer-focussed service with an understanding of the water sector regulatory framework and strategic business planning.
" Understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies; an interest in developing and/or exploiting new and emerging technologies and techniques.
" Understanding of HAZOP, DSEAR, CDM, WIMES, British and European Standards and other statutory, regulatory and non-regulatory provisions and guidance.
