Main responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and provide recommendations to strategically enhance the financial and commercial performance of the organization to the CEO
  • Create, implement and evaluate long-term financial targets for operational efficiency initiatives which includes reducing costs, increasing efficiency, enhancing utilization of resources as well as outsourcing non-value add activities plus optimization of the organizations capital structure
  • Formulate the budget for Support Functions and monitor financial performance versus the budget
  • Lead the development and roll out of manpower planning and forecasting activity, ensuring that company is sufficiently resourced and appropriately structured to deliver on its objectives
  • Lead cost-efficient usage of all other applicable other resources to reduce if not eliminate wastages resulting to unnecessary expense
  • Adhere to compliance with all applicable governmental laws and ministerial policies
  • Lead continuous optimization of systems and processes without sacrificing the required quality of products and services
  • Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place
  • Ensure that company has appropriate systems to enable it to conduct its activities both lawfully and ethically
  • Oversee the principal risks of the organization and ensure that these risks are being monitored and mitigated
  • Manage the financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation and reporting to the company
  • Manage the revision of timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective cost management system
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management team and provide them advice on financial, commercial and support services function issues
  • Lead and negotiate any funding/debt structuring/restricting to ensure the organization has an optimized capital structure
  • Establish, develop and maintain work strategy and objectives
  • Prepare the work plans and communicate it to subordinates
  • Prepare the budgets as per the company strategy
  • Select the team and prepare Man Power Plan
  • Support the management and HR for any development in the company
  • Provide support for continues improvement of the function

 


Experience
10 years of work experience in related job and 3 years of work experience in similar Position

Education and Certification

 

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Commerce
  • Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / CA / CFA / CIMA)
  • Knowledge and experience of financial and commercial due diligence including transactional merger and acquisition experience
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and Other GAAP
