The R2R Global Ops Finance Team provides support for the business closing of the books world-wide in contact with the local/regional business controller-ship teams. Services scope includes preparatory and closing activities in Cash & Banking, Closing & Reporting, Intercompany areas.

Being part of the Closing & Reporting Team is a great opportunity to have a complex overview of accounting of a global company.

  • Perform activities required for month-end closing according to the respective business deadlines with supervision of the Team Leader
  • Ensure the right execution in terms of preparation and recording of properly supported journal entries
  • To identify and solve issues, and clear any backlog related to daily work
  • Fix and stabilize activities required for month-end closing (preparing and posting MJE, running reports) according to the respective business deadlines
  • Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliation review according to Baker Hughes' Policies
  • Provide adhoc reports to HQ, local controller-ship team and other finance functions
  • Provide timely and appropriate financial data and supporting documentation to internal auditing
  • Understanding how different areas integrate with other teams

Expected Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Professional level in communicating in English
  • Conversational level of speaking Italian
  • Proven years of experience in Accounting
  • SAP/ Oracle (other ERP) knowledge
  • Account reconciliation experience
  • MS Excel knowledge
  • MS Outlook knowledge
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Flexible approach with a strong team spirit

Desired Characteristics:
  • Previous experience in a multinational environment
  • Italian language is a big plus
  • Ability to work as an independent professional
