Essential Responsibilities:
  • Project manage fundamental data discovery and curation for Oilfield Services
  • Develop strong relationships with principal business and functional stakeholders to execute data synergies and simplification driving business performance, process efficiency, and team engagement
  • Partner with principal business and IT stakeholders to discover, curate, and harmonize data across vital platforms
  • Act as the functional owner for critical data curation engagements within a large matrixed organization
  • Drive execution of Baker Hughes projects and initiatives for the organization (i.e., data curation & master data management)
  • Align and strengthen data quality & governance program for the organization (i.e., policy compliance, data stewardship operations, data audit activities)
  • Develop data definitions (data dictionary, taxonomies) and own maintenance through ongoing engagement with data domain owners, data stewards, and master data managers
  • Multi-faceted role with responsibilities that will evolve to align to current business objectives


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Highschool Diploma\\GED required
  • Broad business acumen with a minimum Seven (7) years of related work experience in Finance, including Two (2) years of experience in Project Management, Digital Transformation or executing Data Governance programs/policies (preferably with Oil & Gas data domain)
  • Ability to swiftly discover, understand, relate, document, and educate end-to-end flow of data - (i.e., source systems, data integration layers, 3rd party enrichment, consolidation, analytics, and reporting platforms)
  • Capacity to interrelate data across many platforms to drive curation execution
  • Strong track record of cross-functional project delivery - (management of project timeline, stakeholder engagement, and prioritizing objectives)
  • Prior experience leading large-scale execution-focused projects with highly matrixed global teams
  • Working knowledge ofcore enterprise business applications and related processes (i.e. CRM, ERP).
  • Working knowledge of data curation and Master Data Management tools
  • Capacity to quickly gain a technical understanding of new systems and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business vision into tactical execution


Desired Characteristics:
  • Expert knowledge ofcore Finance processes: Controllership and/or Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Enthusiasm to conquer data challenges and strong growth mindset
  • Oil and Gas industry expertise (preferably upstream)
  • PC proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Business Process Modeling proficiency (Visio or similar)
  • Data curation technology experience (Tableau Prep, Informatica, TAMR, Trifacta, Unify, Alteryx)
  • Coding Ability (Python)
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Robust process and analytical skills
  • Understanding of data security frameworks
  • Experience managing global projects/programs in a large enterprise
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with Senior Management
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
