a) Provide assistance to develop R & C plans, logical frameworks, performance monitoring plans, narratives and budgets
b) Provide technical support for data collection, quality assurance, analysis and learning processes, including setup of R & C systems in the field
c) Support teams' responsibilities to contribute to a database for managing, analyzing and reporting on programmatic data
d) Collaborate with other internal Departments on database management
e) Create and guide staff in protocols for data collection, management and entry
f) Deliver training on the database and reporting requirements to program teams in site and Jakarta Office
g) Support analysis and visualization of data (GIS, Remote Sensing and Statistical application capable)
h) Provide statistical support for quarterly, annual and other reporting requirements


• Demonstrated knowledge and/or competency in program design, monitoring, reporting and evaluation
• Demonstrated ability in establishing performance monitoring systems including: managing policies and procedures for routine monitoring, reporting and use of data for program management, adaptation and improvement
• Demonstrated ability to manage data quality assurance policies and procedures appropriate to the type of data, data sources and financial resources available, including providing guidance and support in data auditing
• Demonstrated ability to guide the design and implementation of data management and retrieval systems (i.e., databases); provide guidance on ethical standards for data confidentiality and security
• Excellent quantitative analysis and data visualization skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and ability to draw evidence-based conclusions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Capacity to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Smooth multi-tasking among multiple responsibilities
• English & Indonesian language ability
• Ability and willingness to travel to regional locations


  • Bachelor's degree in earth science research or related subject; graduate degree preferred
  • A minimum of two or three (2-3) years relevant work experience designing, managing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on domestic. Additional years of relevant work experience may be substituted for educational requirement on a one-for-one basis
  • Experience contributing to sound monitoring and reporting strategies related to the mining & geothermal business.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining monitoring and reporting systems in diverse and challenging environments
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis (GIS, Remote Sensing and Statistical application capable), visualization,
  • Experience training program staff in performance monitoring and reporting, including database skills and data analysis
