Senior Manager - Procurement / Contract / Vendor / Tender
Telecoms experience a must for this position.


This role is responsible for advancing the management function covering the core products and services in Active Network for a leading telecommunications company in the Middle-East. The role covers end to end sourcing from supplier selection through to negotiation and completion.

" Vast experience in a Strategic Sourcing function for high value technical products with a significant understanding of Contract negotiations to international standards.

Role duties:
o Conducts value analysis and total cost of ownership analysis in order for there to be an underlying principle of which to base strategic sourcing activities.
o Identifies savings targets and related action plans for each category.
o Aligns strategic procurement decisions with Group and business units.
o Manages tender processes and manages vendor negotiation in support of the relevant functional leads for Active network & technology.
o Manages RFQ's processes ensuring they follow international best practice standards for transparency and fairness.
o Drives vendor selection analysis in order for sound recommendations to be made to the Management Committee for approval.
o Manages new supplier sourcing on a continuous basis.
o Manages the process for supplier certification and supplier audits.
o Conducts tenders and ensures timely participation from stakeholders (Users, Support/Maintenance/Operations, Legal, Finance)



o 10 years' experience in a similar role with a Telecom Operator
o Experience in a Strategic Sourcing function for high value technical products with a significant understanding of Contract negotiations to international industry standards.
o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management or any other similar stream.
o Qualification in procurement management
