Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Set vision and develop strategy to promote execution to the established metrics for the China Aftermarket business including operational, financial and customer-centric measurements
  • Manage spare parts and MRO valve quoting activities and metrics including quote turn-around time and hit rate
  • Collaborate with the China Project Factory and AMC Singapore Operations teams to fulfill aftermarket orders
  • Work with global AMC operations teams to ensure operational alignment of shop KPIs, material management plans, execution of Sourcing deflation projects, implementation of growth programs and other customer fulfillment actions
  • Team management of salaried and hourly employees, as appropriate and assigned to the aftermarket business in China
  • Manage and report progress to defined targets in quality, customer satisfaction and on-time delivery for the aftermarket business in China
  • Build and maintain key relationships with customers and channel partners
  • Provide input to business strategic planning process and programs to support growth of China aftermarket business
  • Benchmark and share best practices with other global AMC operations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through commercial and operational excellence programs
  • Drive a culture of change with systems and processes to implement initiatives for continuous improvement, positive customer fulfillment and growth
  • Work with the Sales/Commercial team to set strategic growth plan, direction & initiatives for China aftermarket business

 


Required Qualifications

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Management, Services or Plant Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction across all levels of the organizational matrix
  • Ability to perform in a fast-pace environment juggling and executing on multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team-focused environment
  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvement across the services business
  • Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays
  • Language: Fluent in English and Chinese

  • Green Belt and/or Lean Certification

  • Proven experience in valves industry in operations, sales, project management or customer support/services
