The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for the overall vision of the digital inspection solution roadmap. S/he will envision the product from customer input, through marketing data, to technical definition, to execution and delivery. S/he will then execute this vision in partnership with marketing, engineering, commercial, service and finance. Her/his key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Waygate Digital Inspection Solutions Portfolio
  • Manage product strategy
    • Connects with the NDT industry, the global key accounts, and translate VoC to product strategy
    • Owns the MGPP
    • Translate business strategy into product strategy
    • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
    • Own and execute the product roadmap
    • Manage product profitability and commercial success - own the business case
  • Define and build new products
    • Articulate product vision
    • Write and manage product requirements
    • Support technical execution team
      • Represent the customer (be a proxy) within the development process
      • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog
      • Track releases
      • Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives
  • Drive products to market
    • Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market
    • Plan and carry out product launches
    • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues


The Digital Product Manager will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex and multi-dimensional digital products. S/he will have extensive experience in driving successful digital solutions from ideation to market penetration and beyond. S/he will have a deep technical background and will be willing to work hands-on with globally distributed teams to drive success. S/he will have directly or in-directly led global teams to successful product releases. S/he will have a can-do attitude be accepting of ownership and willing to wear multiple hats as needed to ensure the success of the solutions business. S/he will also have excellent communication skills and be willing to hand-hold an organization through a transformative period in product strategy.
