Take ownership for delivering innovation

As a Solutions Architect, you will lead the functional & technical design and configuration of Teamcenter applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead workshops to identify extensive improvements to our current processes. You will successfully deliver key innovations and implementations that will shape the future of our business.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading workshop reviews of current business processes and tools to document and identify metrics and technical requirements for re-engineering
  • Defining root-cause analysis of complex business problems to deliver best-practice improvements to processes, systems, software and tools
  • Defining & owning all components of the technical solution (BMIDE) including integrations, data migration and conversion.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build relationships and create efficient, cost effective and scalable solutions
  • Authoring solution specifications, software configuration and code and associated IT infrastructure

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical subject or a high school diploma/GED with strong industry experience.
  • Have very strong experience in the design, architecture, development, deployment and integration of Teamcenter
  • Show experience in developing code such as, Java, C, C++, .Net, Visual Basic, XML and Siemens web tool kit
  • Have knowledge of application and messaging services such as J2EE, Oracle, Linux, LDAP and SOA
  • Have a good understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing processes and functionality such as product configuration, BOM management and classification
  • Display knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle using an Agile or SCRUM implementation approach
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
  • Have the ability to lead teams in a cross-functional, global-matrix environment
  • Demonstrate a thorough and logical approach to proactively solving complex problems
  • Be able to travel internationally up to 30% of the time
