Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for several Crane Operators with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry in Willison, ND.

Operates the various hoisting and lifting equipment covered by OSHA 1926.1400. May operate all or some of the following types of cranes: telescopic boom, lattice boom, tower and overhead. Must be certified and can operate all sizes from 45 ton to 450 ton.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required


Skills / Qualifications
  • Observes load hook up and determines safety of load.
  • Manipulates crane control to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal or signal instructions.
  • Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanisms.
  • Inspects crane for defective parts, documents and notifies the equipment foreman or supervisor of any defects or malfunctions.
