Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Duration: 12 month renewable
Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced, degree qualified Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
•Responsible for the schedule and budget performance of the mechanical discipline team,
•Responsible for the technical integrity of the discipline's work under your supervision,
•Coordinate with other discipline lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design,
•Participate in formal design reviews and HAZOP meetings,
•Conduct or direct site surveys and plant visits to establish equipment or layout constraints in the existing facilities,
•Must be able to prepare equipment specifications and prepare material purchase requisition and perform technical evaluations of bidder's responses,
•Prepare discipline construction scope of work, testing procedures and methodologies,
•Ensure the work is in line with all processes and project specific procedures,
•BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering,
•10 Yrs Engineering and design experience as a Mechanical Engineer,
•Experience in the Engineering design and construction support of brownfield projects in the refining, petrochemical or chemicals industry,
•Specialist experience in one or more fields of vessels, drums, and column designs, heat exchangers, pumps or compressors,
•Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPCm projects,
•Experience in the use of software programmes such as HTRI, PVElite, STX, ACX, CFX.
