Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join our team responsible for planning, coordinating, analyzing and reporting on maintenance activities on the assignment.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify resources needed to perform and populate job plan or work order
  • Plan maintenance jobs by identifying tasks, define the level of detail of work definition and resources
  • Communicated and work with the delivery supervisors/trades
  • Develop and deliver the 90 Day Plan
  • Raise Purchase Orders for work preparation as required
  • Continually review and revise job plans information
  • Deliver a plan of resources required to support execution in period
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance works including shutdowns and other maintenance projects
  • Liaise with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Liaise to ensure availability of asset and resources for the expeditious delivery of the work
  • Assist in the development and management of the Maintenance Budget in their area
  • Advise the relevant stakeholders on matters regarding continuous improvement in delivery
  • Liaise with the Scheduler to ensure the successful delivery of the schedule
  • Organise quotes and order non-inventory parts and materials
  • Organise quotes and requisitions for subcontractors
  • Create work packs
  • Coordinate CM planning and scoping
  • Support the scheduler and delivery team as required
  • Establish & maintain standard plans to reduce waste
  • Feedback on the effectiveness of Maintenance Strategies and PMs
  • Advise the relevant stakeholders on matters regarding continuous improvement in delivery


Skills / Qualifications

 

 

  • Professional qualification or equivalent with relevant considerable experience
  • Mechanical trade qualifications preferred
  • Maximo (or similar computer Maintenance Management System) - preferred
  • Demonstrate balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position
  • Planning experience
  • Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
  • Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a context
  • Professional demeanour, interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate team working skills
  • Microsoft computer skills necessary
  • Mobile and willing to spend time away from office location as and when operation requires
