Kintec Recruitment is currently seeking a (Senior) Procurement Engineer to work with our client, an international offshore engineering company, in Luxembourg.

The role will be responsible for supporting the company's EPC procurement department with a range of international offshore installation and subsea cable projects globally.

Key Responsibilities:

" Working in a multi-disciplinary project team (including design engineers/manager, tender engineer/managers, contracts manager, technical experts, fabrication managers);
" Preparation of complete tender request packages towards suppliers;
" Following up on tenders from suppliers (price, contractual & technical aspects, planning, QA/HSE aspects)
" Organizing clarification/negotiation meetings with suppliers;
" Negotiating and finalising contracts with suppliers together with project team and connect with contractual and technical colleagues where required;
" Defining and managing project opportunities and risks will be part of your responsibilities;
" Sharing market intelligence/drivers, suppliers' knowledge, technology evolutions and innovation opportunities;
" Following up on feedback from contracted suppliers, including opportunities/risks, suppliers performance on capacity, quality, Total cost, security of supply and planning.;
" Developing your network with the suppliers, within the procurement department and the project teams;


" Master / Bachelor's degree in engineering
" Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement for subsea projects.
" A skilled negotiator and excellent communicator and in the ability to influence business partners and suppliers;
" Fluent in English, speaking and writing;
" Familiar with MS Office and an expert in Excel;
