We are currently recruiting a Production Engineer for Eni Versalis. You'll assist the Production Manager to ensure the safe, efficient operation of the plant, working to deliver all safety, environmental, production and quality targets.

Key responsibilities :



  • Monitor day-to-day operations to maximise production in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Monitor plant and equipment operations in accordance with instructions;
  • Monitor, review and update operating instructions;
  • Assist in the training of Operators in new operating instructions;
  • Be involved in incident investigations and the definition/implementation of corrective actions;
  • Strive to develop and improve existing equipment and processes in a cost-effective manner;
  • Manage change processes;

    Work with the Engineering department to ensure:
  • Implementation of maintenance interventions for planned and unplanned works;
  • Ensure works are performed safely, effectively and efficiently;
  • Review and update Equipment Removal/Return to Service instructions;
  • Make sure preventative maintenance schedules are set and followed to minimise production and quality losses.

Employment contract
Permanent, local residential. We are unable to offer visa support for this role.









  • Ability to build effective relationships with the production team to achieve individual and company targets;
  • Consistently achieve results even when having to adapt to changes in the production process/production plans;
  • Having worked in a COMAH site is beneficial but not essential.







  • Degree in chemical engineering;
  • Postgraduate experience in a production role.
