My oil & gas client in the North West is recruiting for a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer on an ongoing contract basis, rates negotiable.

Essential Skills:
" Experience in identification, prioritisation and planning of rotating and static equipment maintenance and reliability improvement activities
" Working Experience in dealing with rotating and mechanical engineering discipline issues including, compliance with Examination and Verification, benchmarking performance and developing improvements to enhance equipment reliability using RCA techniques
" Strong technical Knowledge and proven design, construction, commissioning and operational experience in the rotating equipment
" Strong Knowledge of British and European Technical Standards
" Knowledge of Applicable Regulations
" Technical confidence and independence to progress tasks with minimal supervision

Desirable Skills:
" Good Hazard Awareness
" Experience of Risk Assessment
" Understanding of Safety Case and Bowties approach on Major Accident Hazards
" Familiar and previous experience with project management principles and fundamentals
" Available to undertake HUET and BOSIET Certification

Qualification: Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering Discipline or other relevant qualification, supplemented by operational experience.
