Role Summary

The Bently Nevada/Nexus Controls Sourcing Leader will own the sourcing vision, strategy and deliverable for the global BNNC business.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Report functionally to the Digital Solutions Sourcing Leader, with strong operational alignment to the GSC General Manager
  • Drive Sourcing activities for the Bently/Nexus product lines, to support and meet business and functional objectives.
  • Establish sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend in line with Digital Solutions and Global Ops strategies to meet or exceed op plan deflation targets
  • Develop a strong relationship with Manufacturing, Engineering and Product Line teams to partner in driving key sourcing and business objectives around cost, cash, supplier quality, NPI and fulfillment
  • Lead and manage Supplier Quality team to drive defect reduction, COQ recovery, quality initiatives and overall supplier quality performance
  • Ensure compliance with Baker Hughes sourcing policies, procedures and export control regulations
  • Reduce risks in supply chain by mitigating sole source suppliers
  • Drive emerging market growth strategy
  • Collaborate with Materials team to drive standardization and continuous improvement of purchasing processes and cycle time reduction through consignment, VMI and Kanban strategies
  • Provide benchmarking and industry intel support in make vs. buy strategies and decisions
  • Drive business cash initiatives supporting inventory and AP; lead implementation of e-invoicing strategies

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent education
  • Minimum 7 years of Sourcing experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20% of the time, as required
  • Experience managing a team of sourcing professionals
