Our client, is one of the leading National EPC & Maintenance Contractor in the Oil & Gas industry based in Qatar and are looking for an experience Electrical Manager to join their team.

Role Purpose:
Jobs at this level are responsible for directing and leading all site and operational resources across multiple disciplines, leading the respective department/ project management team to achieve operational targets and meeting all contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner. They are the focal point between project activities and Sr. Management, providing guidance, advice and information on project status and progress.

Review contract and tendering documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of contract requirements and own deliverables during the preliminary planning and budgeting stages.
Establish effective supervision, monitoring and control of the work activities carried and ensure full compliance with all relevant standards e.g. Contract documents, specifications, method statements, policy and procedures.
Coordinate with Manpower planning to ensure mobilization of competent and adequate number of staff and workmen, taking action where necessary and following up to ensure timely delivery of Mobilization Plan.
Establish the resourcing requirements of tools, materials, plant, machinery, equipment etc. to ensure effective preparation and delivery of all required resources with reference to critical path analysis
Review construction drawings and procedures, consolidating relevant information across multiple disciplines, identifying methods to optimize execution and submitting drawings to Level 1 prior to issue.
Apply specialist knowledge to develop Construction Schedule, communicating with relevant disciplines, reviewing information provided and creating a comprehensive Construction Schedule.
Prepare system for progress monitoring against schedule and follow up on variations from construction plans; supervise corrective action(s), coordinating with various disciplines and ensuring timely completion.

Qualification / Experience
B.Sc. in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
MBA/ PMP or similar post-graduate qualification highly desired
15 years' experience of working on a breadth of heavy construction projects requiring in depth knowledge of several engineering disciplines.
High level of EPC experience/ exposure.
Proven track record of operating as Head of Section/ Lead Engineer/ Construction Manager or similar role
Work experience should cover both site an office work experience approximately 70/30% site based.
High order of cost awareness.
