a) Write reports using Proven Practices templates and check-lists.
b) Evaluate, assess, review and correct as appropriate customer equipment technical documentation, e.g. specifications, line drawings, general arrangement drawings, test plans, acceptance plans, etc.
c) Understand relevant regulatory requirements and their application to customer equipment and installation.
d) Recommend improvements to customer test plans.
e) Establish self as subject matter expert with customer and expert in designated technical discipline(s).
f) Demonstrate ability to expend extra effort and time when necessary to meet commitments.
g) Demonstrate self-starting capabilities to fill standby time with productive tasks that benefit the customer and / or company.
a) Provide valued, relevant and significant assessments, reviews, observations, and recommendations to achieve maximum practical installation from startup time to post project completion on items falling within the Athens Group scope.
b) Observe yard and installation political dynamics.
c) Understand customer decision making factors and process.
d) Adopt behaviors and posture to effectively achieve Athens Group and Customer common goals and objectives.
e) Conduct interactions with others with ethics and integrity
Adhere to Athens Group, Customer and Regulatory requirements, methods and processes to achieve maximum economic benefit for the customer and Athens Group by utilizing established and required methods and processes.
Work safely and ensure Athens Group's and the client's HSE Policies are adhered to.
Maintain situational awareness pertaining to new business opportunities by a) understanding the customer's business needs b) how they align with Athens Group services and c) by working closely with project personnel and on site leadership to better serve the customer's ultimate goal of increased uptime from their mission critical installations
a) High School or GED
a) Education: Engineering College Degree or BOP Training Certified
a) Minimum of 8+ years experience as a Subsea Engineer or 5 years with a Degree
a) Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, logic drawings, cause and effect documentation.
b) Demonstrated Understanding of Certification Societies/Enforcement- MODU, ABS, DNV, MMS, ISM, IMO, USCG, NTL
