Baker Hughes is currently hiring a Director - Program Management based in Houston, Texas.

In this role, you will be responsible for Product Management leadership for the Baker Hughes High Performance Computing (HPC) portfolio. The HPC environment is critical to Baker Hughes operations as it pertains to New Product Introduction, Research, Additive Manufacturing efforts and design & simulation practices.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive the HPC strategic plan to enable business outcomes across business units, global functions and regions
  • Build HPC Product team (hire new resources + integrate existing) to manage the transition service agreements and move into the most productive and efficient combination of internally managed, vendor managed and cloud provided HPC services
  • Create and execute Projects in conjunction with various stakeholders across Baker Hughes
  • Partner with the CTO (Technology Infrastructure) group to plan and execute all HPC infrastructure components (SW, HW, Connectivity, Storage++)
  • Define and track key metrics (Utilization, Availability, Performance, Security++) and collaborate with technical and functional teams to drive improvements
  • Provide expertise in HPC emerging technologies to the enterprise, while advising on the selection and use of technologies
  • Engage & Manage contractor teams to work on deployment & support of Bakr Hughes team
  • Oversee the sustain operations including management of hardware, software, indirect material supplies, licenses and purchased service agreements to maximize the efficiency of HPC Environment
  • Establish and develop relationship with key HPC suppliers to ensure BH engagement on technology and product roadmaps & responsiveness to BH issues
  • Overall management of budgets, costs and resources for the HPC portfolio and making strategic financial decisions regarding investment in capital and resources
  • Manage executive stakeholder communication and progress reporting across the company


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in leading global teams and programs
