HSE Manager - Global Wind Turbine Manufacturer - UK

Eden Scott are partnering with a Global Wind Turbine manufacturer to shortlist an experienced HSE Manager. This is a permanent position where you will work alongside Senior Management and manage a small HSE Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation based either from Inverness or Huntington with around 50% travel required across the UK.

The HSE Manager will be responsible for the service arm of the business which employs a number of Skilled Wind Turbine Technicians located at various hubs across the UK.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Daily management of 2 HSE Officers
  • Carry out Incident investigations, inspections and audits
  • Create and run safety campaigns
  • Deliver HSE Training as required
  • Highlight any adverse HSE trends and put in place remediation plans
  • Driving a culture of behavioural based safety
  • Communicate HSE related matters with the Senior Management Team

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Certified
  • IOSH Membership
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as HSE Manager gained within the Wind, Oil & Gas, Marine or other renewables sectors
  • Experience as HSE Manager gained in the onshore wind sector beneficial.
  • Any Electrical experience beneficial
  • Experience managing a team
  • Comfortable traveling 50% of your time across the UK with occasional trips to Germany
  • Able to be based from Inverness or Huntington
