Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 


  • Design and develop C++, C# code for acquisition and control software applications on Windows 7/10.

  • Test software modules or components following prescribed methods.

  • Resolve software defects found during testing.

  • Collaboration with other development teams.

  • Learn Well Service domain knowledge and provide support to field operation remotely as needed on software applications.

  • Draft user manual
     


Level of Autonomy:

 

 


  • The development team is small, so the level of autonomy is high. Initiative and analytical skill is expected. The developer is expected to develop, test and deploy code and support it as well.
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness. The developer will need to visit field location to field test the components and interface with other group and field testers.


Competencies:

 

 

  • Experienced with C, C++, C#, .NET
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio, TFS
  • Experience with middleware and server development is a plus
  • Experience with SQL and database design is a plus
  • Knowledge of Real Time systems, Telecommunication equipment and protocols are a plus.
  • Knowledge of acquisition, control and automation is a plus


Education:

Master or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering.

3+ years of relevant experience
