Grade H Job Duties • Involved in the safe/reliable daily operations of the power infrastructure in the Permian asset • Develop applicable training, procedures, and contractor management for power infrastructure operations • Keep pace with a growing demand base, starting at 120MW in 2020, expanding to 500MW in 2024 • Involved with the development of analytical monitoring tools that provide dynamic status and automated callouts for the power infrastructure • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and BPX requirements including NEC, NESC, IEEE, and safe electrical work practices • Coordinate with North American Gas & Power (NAGP) to determine demand needs for power on a monthly basis • Involved with the development and implementation of effective power infrastructure operational safety plan Essential criteria and qualifications: • Familiarity with power generation ERCOT grid dispatch a plus • Familiarity with power distribution automation (ADMS) a plus • Familiarity with power distribution analytics a plus • Experience working on High Voltage 138kVand Medium Voltage 21.6kV Systems • Experience with operating power distribution systems and understanding of maintenance needs • 5 years experience in oil and gas, power, or electrical system design • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering • Versed in electrical code and regulatory requirements • Demonstrated ability to lead, and foster cohesive teamwork.
