The TLM Engineer is responsible for:

  • supporting manufacturing, field operations, and maintenance of the assets in the portfolio
  • working on projects to improve efficiency & increase asset utilization within the TLM network
  • working on projects to improve reliability & decrease CoSD (Cost of Service Delivery)


The TLM Engineer is also responsible for providing on-time and accurate support as a SME (subject matter expert) to field operations via the InTouch platform.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time through reduction of assets waiting for maintenance, down for parts or repair authorization number, down for failure & work-in-process
  • Participate in periodic technical audits and CAT compliance assessments
  • Use the guiding principles & tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable
  • Advise the field on best practices linked to the maintenance and operation of tools
  • Analyse and investigate SQ events
  • Support timely closure of failure reports in QUEST and InTouch
  • Advise the field on individual & generic failure analysis processes
  • Perform audits of field bases on operation & maintenance procedures
  • Collate best practices and feedback on operations
  • In case of systematic problems detected in the field related to TLM, Manufacturing or Engineering, organize an investigation with all parties to identify root causes, create action items, and ensure implementation
  • Participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code, etc.
  • Maintain product documentation & provide user training as required
  • Resolve raised Issues & Change Requests of assets (product files, design modification, component obsolescence, supplier-quality related, etc) in the portfolio
  • Participate in identifying new opportunities and developing business cases for projects towards product reliability, CoSD improvement, and digitization

 


Qualifications:

  • Master or higher degree in mechanical engineering
  • Field experience on Muzic toolset of Testing Services is essential
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience in data science/data analytics is highly desired
  • Experience from SLB E&M center is desired
  • Good communication skills: English is essential, French will be advantageous
