As the Reliability Engineer you lead effective practices in operational and maintenance excellence for growing and improving reliability. Your objective is to increase site profitability and decrease maintenance expenditure through continuous improvements in reliability, including bad-actor elimination. You are the "reliability conscience" for the site, ensuring that reliability is considered in all aspects of manufacturing: projects, turnarounds, maintenance, engineering, work processes, and human factors. You will collect and analyze reliability performance data. You will develop and lead reliability improvement tactics. Champion the Mitigate Threats to Availability (MTA) work process. Assure initiation of improvement tactics and projects as appropriate. You will lead the implementation and maintenance of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) work process. You will work with technical disciplines, operations, and maintenance to identify opportunities for improving capacity utilization. Examples of opportunities include: repairing or replacing equipment, changing operating guidelines, and revising maintenance practices and procedures. You will facilitate event investigations by applying Fact-Based Problem-Solving Techniques. You will also facilitate learning from repetitive failures and reliability-event reviews. You will act as a technical expert in fact-based problem solving. Provide instruction on investigation tools/techniques and failure analysis.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer both now and in the future.
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• Skilled in Mitigate Threats to Opportunities (MTO) work process.
• Skilled in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) work process and Preventative Maintenance (PM) practices.
• Skilled Level in Reliability and Maintenance engineering principles and application including: Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
• Strong Problem-solving skills.
• Strong Communication and listening skills.
• Causal-learning facilitation skills and Mean Time Between Failure/Repair analysis skills
• Knowledge of Catalyst, Solids, or similar manufacturing methods and processes is advantageous though not required
