Account Manager - Houston based

Summary

As Account Manager, you will focus your efforts in developing client relationships and providing valuable services to new and existing clients in the Houston and San Antonio areas. Many new and existing operators are available for advancement and development in these regions. You will report directly to the V.P. of Sales.

Requirements

  • 7yrs + of consultancy sales experience in the oil and gas and unconventionals market space
  • Experience in consultancy type sales for technology and/or services
  • Honest, ethical and trustworthy
  • Bachelor's degree Engineer/Geosciences or, equivalent years of experience providing high-end technology to oil companies
  • Familiarity with Fracking industry
  • Proven Self-starter with drive to take on exciting challenges
  • Understanding of Startup/small company sales experience
  • Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
  • Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Be able to write value-add proposals with attention to detail
  • Ability to track, predict and win large numbers of sales opportunities
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of your time or, more as required
  • Sales Leadership skills a must; good sales habits, positive attitude and team player
  • Valid driver's license and mode of transportation (personnel vehicle)
  • Must reside in Houston or, the nearby surrounding area

  • Past participation in formal sales training courses
