You will work across Permian business unit leading projects related to optimization, data analytics, and more. effective listener who builds products that solves customers' problems, solves business problems, and improves user experience• Resilient and adaptable: able to deal with changing environments, overcome obstacles, and handle uncertain scope & timelines • Make value-based decisions involving measured risk to deliver business objectives• Working understanding of the oil and gas industryProvides advanced technical expertise leading projects in the front end development aspects of BP's staged gate project management process. • Provides support on all appraise and select stage design aspects from the selection of technology, optimization of options, project support, commissioning and operations. • Supports the Appraisal Managers in developing opportunities and undertake technical studies to determine optimal application of technologies. • Supports implementation of integrity management with respect to engineering design and operations. • Supports the implementation of the HSSE requirements for the projects, including HAZID/HAZOP. • Works closely with the project teams to ensure optimal process design and incorporation of BP integrity management standards. •Participates in risk management for the project. • Complies with all BP's Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures. • Complies with BP's Code of Conduct and models BP's Values & Behaviours.\\\\\\\\\\\\• Supports the scope development within the project remit to meet project objectives with the project option that creates the maximum value for the business. • Provides support in developing the project plan which includes detailed performance targets (safety, schedule, resource plan and budget) in line with the defined project objectives, ensuring that detailed schedules encompass the complete work scope. • Plans, coordinates and/or participates in design, operability, compliance and safety reviews, as well as other assurance activities where appropriate. • Supports the development of the specifications, procurements documents and reviews bid tabs for all material, contracts, third party resources and purchases. • Monitors and manages project schedules, milestones, progress reports, resources, cost estimates, and forecasts in partnership with Project Controls to ensure delivery within the plan. • Monitors and manages key contractors and site interfaces and performance management targets to ensure smooth project execution, supporting safe and efficient execution of construction activities through the project. • Maintains proper document control and record keeping throughout the project and completion of close-out processes and post-project assessment. • Complies with all BP's Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures and monitors contractors for compliance of BP HSSE Standards. • Complies with BP's Code of Conduct and models BP's Values & Behaviours.• Directs and manages project development and delivery from beginning to end; Setup governance with the right members to ensure strong governance and escalation points • Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders; Develop full-scale project plans, schedules, project timelines, milestones and resources appropriate tools • Monitors and controls the quality management process, manage expectations, conduct milestone reviews, manage process performance, conduct continuous improvement and causal analysis activities. • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations; Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project • Manages external / 3rd party vendors in conjunction with the work-streams - monitors overall performance of the vendor throughout the vendor's relationship with that program, project or service. • Manages a team of direct reports, demonstrating effective leadership to ensure excellence in delivery against plans and championing a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities.
