The Tax Department is seeking a Transfer Pricing Analyst/Specialist to assist its Senior Transfer Pricing Coordinator with transfer pricing and related initiatives. The successful candidate will perform a variety of functions relating to transfer pricing compliance, reporting, planning, audits, and other growing tax practice areas within the Tax Department. Candidate selection criteria will include transfer pricing experience and knowledge, analytical/problem solving skills, time and project management, teamwork/communication, accounting and income tax knowledge, leadership/initiative/organization, and computer/ERP system skills.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare, coordinate, and deliver transfer pricing annual reports and planning documentation compliant with the U.S. transfer pricing rules and the OECD/BEPS transfer pricing guidelines, including the BEPS master file and country-by-country reporting
• Collect and gather data and information and assist with quantitative data analysis and the related modelling
• Research significant global transfer pricing developments
• Assist in and/or conduct functional analyses interviews related to Chevron's intercompany transactions
• Assist with the review and monitoring of Chevron's global transfer pricing policies, including collection and review Chevron's annual foreign transfer pricing reports and identification of transfer pricing risks and opportunities
• Assist with the analysis of transfer pricing aspects of business initiatives, expansions, and transactions
• Assist in transfer pricing audits and provide tax controversy support

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Accounting or similar
• 2+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting and/or a corporate tax department
• Familiar with the U.S. transfer pricing rules, the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and the BEPS requirements, as well as the application of these transfer pricing rules

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of direct transfer pricing experience in public accounting (or equivalent consulting firms) or Fortune 100 companies
• Master's/Advanced degree or CPA
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience with CorpTax, Alteryx, or Power BI
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detailed oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects
• Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Visio
