My client in Surrey is currently recruiting for a Senior Safety System Control Engineer on a contract basis. Rates negotiable.

Required experience
" Programming/ coding experience of Honeywell Safety Manager
" Leads the configuration, database and / or programming activities
" Leads project sub-teams during system design and implementation
" Leads technical aspects of automation project design and / or implementation
Typical duties include but not limited to:
" SIS/FGS I/O Assignments
" SIS/FGS Software Template Assignments
" SIS/FGS FS/DDS
" SIS/FGS Configuration/Coding
" Control Narrative Review
" Internal SIS/FGS FAT participation
" Customer SIS/FGS FAT participation

Responsibilities:
" Has detailed design and programming experience with Honeywell "FSC" or "Safety Manager"
" Travel to other sites maybe required
" Must have worked at an OEM preferably Honeywell or System Integrator over many years (as opposed to EPC, End Users)
" Significant experience in Automation and Control Engineering
" Experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognised as specialist in a specific engineering field on large to mega projects
" Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications
" Working towards or being a chartered engineer and member of a recognised institution, such as the IET or IMC
" Minimum BSc Degree or equivalent experience
" TUV training recommended
