Residential role in Qatar until July 2020

Coordinate, control and validate all project inspection activities in collaboration with EPCIC contractor - Manage baseline inspection activities ensuring EPCIC and contractor schedules are aligned and meet project milestones - Ensure compliance of all inspection activities with specifications/standards and local legislation. - Review and validate all inspection engineering activities included in the contract - Provide assistance to the Contractor Work Package Leaders with regards to inspection issues - Accountable for ensuring base line inspection preparation and performance is conducted in line with MIE contract - Provide technical support during technical reviews related to maintainability & inspectability during project phase - Maintain regular communication with project Lead, management team, EPICIC engineering team and yard/construction sites. - Manage designated contractors ensuring compliance with HSE & Inspection procedures and policies

HSEQ responsibilities: o Ensure compliance with Incident Free culture, Health and Safety and environment policy o Support and enforce the project HESQ management system (charters, objectives, directives, plans, procedures and specifications etc.) o Promotes HSEQ awareness of workforce at all levels through proactive attitude - site tour at construction yard, attend HSEQ meetings ensuring risks are identified, actions assigned and managed within project team and contractors o Monitor work activities, especially areas where unsafe acts could occur and ensure that risks have been properly identified and assessed prior to work execution (Job Safety Analysis) o Ensure that potential failures, weaknesses and hazards are immediately reported

- Technical Inspection responsibilities: o Implement and suggest improvements to the Inspection philosophy o Review and validate, on spot check basis, the quality and compliance of documents required for the completion of inspection deliverables in the Electronic Documentation System (EDMS) o Ensure that inspection requirements are properly addressed, especially for the main packages during detailed enginerring activities (Inspectability) o Review documentation both EPCIC and project o Review the standardisation of project design evaluating against OPEX costs o Participation in maintainability & inspectability reviews as required o Manage all Baseline activities ensuring that shedule meets project milestones, working closly with baseline inspectors and overseeing and resolving technical issues o Review and ensure that maintainability and handling aspects are addressed during detailed engineering, construction and commissioning phases including 3 D modelling reviews o Review and validate inspection dossiers prepared by the Team

- Project responsibilities: o Manage the performance of all indirect or contract personnel working on inspection activities o Follow-up, manage and validate the Inspection engineering activities ensuring that the schedule meets EPCIC milestones o Ensure that appropriate resourcing are in place for all inspection activities o Co-ordinate the preparation and the implementation of Inspection data to be loaded in CMIMS o Manage contracts as directed by department Leader o Supervise the preparation, review and validate the Inspection dossiers o Prepare the inspection activities required prior and after facilities start up o Facilitate effcient communication/information flow with project team, stakeholders and inspection department o Ad-hoc activities as required by line manager o All staff must be willing to participate in Crisis Response Training and to assist during Emergency Response Situations if required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering - Minimum 8 years' experience in the petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration or similar industry in an Inspection Engineering role - Demonstrable experience of Risk Based Inspection experience (RBI) preferably in the petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration or similar industry - Expereince with FAME+ software both Engineering and Analysis - Detailed knowledge of legislation/regulations relevant to inspection discipline - Familiar with PRODOM and relevant codes and standards - Fluent in English (listening, writing and speaking) and its technical vocabulary - Computer literate - Good communication and analytical skills - Ability to work in a complex and multicultural environment - Available for missions as necessitated by project - Medically fit to travel to offshore oil & gas platform - H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET certification
