Kintec Recruitment is currently seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer for a staff position with our client, an international EPC company, in the Netherlands


" Reviewing the client's technical requirements and incorporate in project related pipe stress specifications, standards and calculation activities;
" Preparing Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Requisitions and Technical Bid Tabulations for the purchase of: spring supports, sliding plates, expansion joints and shock absorbers/struts;
" Coordinate pipe stress related issues with the other engineering disciplines as required;
" Prepare flex log of priority systems, pipe stress flexibility calculations and support data for the furnace steel and civil disciplines;
" Communicate flexibility and supporting requirements with the Piping Lead Engineer and Piping Designers;
" Ensure that an adequate 2nd check is performed by using the available design review checklists.


" Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar
" Minimum 5- 10 years' relevant experience
" Hands on experience working with Caesar II software
" Familiarity with international standards including API 560, API 516, API 610, API 618, API 673, ASTM, ISO, Euronorm, PED;
" Fluency in English (written and spoken)
