Position Summary


NGL's Driver - Water is responsible for the day-to-day transporting of injection site well water to and from NGL Energy Partner's locations. Drilling locations are, at times, in remote locations and the Driver should be comfortable driving tanker/water trucks in various environments and terrain.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Perform scheduled customer deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
  • Complete driver's logs and vehicle inspections daily.
  • Operate truck in a safe and professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance is in accordance with established company standards.
  • Maintain all delivery bills of lading in a complete, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Maintain clean and professional appearance of vehicle at all times.
  • Perform relief assignments for collection as required.
  • Turn in all paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
  • Regular attendance at the worksite is required.

Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
  • Working knowledge of Hazardous Materials Transport Industry.
  • Working Knowledge of DOT regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.
  • Must be committed to working safely at all times.

 

Experience/Education:

  • Class A CDL driver's license with the following endorsements (as applicable):
    • Tanker
    • Doubles
    • Hazardous Materials
    • Air Brake
  • Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • DOT medical card.
  • High school diploma / GED is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Driving is required.

 

Travel:

Negligible travel required. Requires the ability to travel to field locations where environment may vary significantly.

    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl or otherwise reach into confined spaces;
    • Push and pull material and equipment from one place to another;

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work requires physical efforts associated with using the computer and phones to access information.

This position is required to be performed at the work site during regularly scheduled hours. Physical presence at the work site is required.
